Pie anyone?

Who ate all the pies, who ate all the pies, who ate, who ate, who ate all the pies. Not really more I can think to write today. I doubt anyone who takes Quetiapine is reading this, but if you are – how the hell do you stop it from making you put on weight? I’ve cut down on most of the chocolate and sweets, and I’ve been doing at least an hour of intensive cardio five days a week and in the last week I’ve put on another 6 pounds to go over fourteen stone. At this rate I’ll be sixteen stone in another three months and that ain’t going to happen!

The ‘all or nothing’ approach to fitness now looks like it is becoming a necessity! I think I’ll start adding weight training into my weekly schedule. No idea if this will work, but it can’t do any harm. Christ – what if this is nothing to do with medication and this is just what happens when you’re over fifty? I am destined to be fat boy at the back on all the races I’ve entered. God the shame I shall bring upon myself.

That’s it – I’m looking into liposuction as it’s cheap and instant.

Or maybe not.

I might get a tattoo though.

Shit, I’m having a mid-life crisis. Although I think I’m too late for that. And I’ve had a few already.

I have a suspicion that I am on a medically muted high as my concentration is shot to pieces and I could have quite easily carried on my workout for another two hours. My head is spinning as well, but not as fast as it used to. My tinnitus is also very loud which is never a good sign. Bugger. Better sort out the Wellness chart that my psychologist has given me as homework as I definitely think there are some red flags being waved at me.

Actually, that’s made me feel better already – I must keep up my CBT stuff as that’s supposed to help.

I’ll rest easy tonight now.

Onward and upward again.
