What the hell fell on my head

What the hell fell on my head

Something like 10 years ago a plasterboard lift fell on my head. The steel bit that is very hard hit me, not the plasterboard – that would have been a little less severe. Now I know there is a question mark over my sanity already, but the doctor at the time said I might be off balance and confused for a week or so, and that if any liquids started to come out of any of the holes in my head to give them a call; or rather my wife should give them a call because I was already talking bollox to them. I don’t think they knew that talking bollox was normal for me. Anyway, I think the effect on me was somewhat delayed, as a consequence of having to cancel the Duathlon due to a wedding, I’ve accidentally made my list of events this year as:

  • London Winter Run 10k
  • Thames Meander Marathon
  • Reading Half Marathon
  • Virtual London Marathon
  • RideLondon-Essex 100
  • Asics London 10k
  • Thames Path Challenge 100k
  • Oxford Half Marathon
  • Marlow Half Marathon
  • Windsor Trail Run Marathon
  • Run Dorney Half Marathon

So much for being sensible this year!

Edit: Have now entered the Virtual London Marathon and the Asics London 10k. Glutton for punishment!
